We consider walking to be one of the best, most natural and gentle modes of exercise out there and we always try to incorporate it into
our retreat packages. Nature walks and hikes puts you in the present moment and teaches you how to be a better observer and listener.
It also reconnects you with the earth and is hugely de-stressing.
We like to call it 'meditative movement'. 

Outdoor Yoga

There are few activities as calming, strengthening and energizing as yoga in the great outdoors! We always search for beautiful places to teach yoga to individuals and groups - sometimes even finding 'secret spots'. Outdoor yoga has countless beneficial qualities - you will always be breathing in fresh air and getting a good dose of Vitamin D! 

 

Cold Water Immersion

Much research has been done on the benefits of short-term cold exposure - whether in showers, bathtubs, rivers, lakes or the ocean and it has been recently popularized by Wim Hof - famously known as 'The IceMan'. We believe that cold water immersion is one of the best longevity-boosting practices out there and this is why we love to incorporate ocean, lakes and river plunges into our retreat and yoga programs. We always present this as an 'optional' activity, but will still encourage you to give it a try!
